Precious metals - the most important criteria 

Yellow gold, white gold and rose gold are available in alloys of 14 carats (58.5% fine gold) and 18 carats (75% fine gold).

All our jewellery is nickel-free! 

White gold (Wg) is a light, white-grey alloy of gold, palladium, and silver. It is particularly popular for engagement rings.

Valuable silver 925/- (sterling silver, Ag) consists of 92.5% pure silver. 7.5% is made up of other metals, such as copper.

Rose gold (Rg) is a pink alloy of fine gold and copper. The higher the copper content, the redder the colour.

Yellow gold (Gg) used for jewellery is an alloy of gold, silver and copper. It is the most popular gold colour in the world.

Platinum 950/- (Pt) is a rare and expensive precious metal. Platinum has a high density, it is particularly durable and robust.

Exquisitely shiny or matt and discreet?

Choose a ring with a polished or matt surface. A smooth polished surface looks elegant and modern, a matt surface is more discreet and masculine.

The shiny polished surface 
The shiny polished surface is the most popular finish for all types of jewellery. The gloss makes the precious metal shine more intensely. Glossy polished surfaces can easily be refreshed.

The matt surface 

Matt surfaces appear discreet and calm. Gemstones sparkle particularly intensely when set in a ring with a matt surface.

Matt surfaces are more sensitive and signs of wear are more visible. However, the matting can be refreshed with a matting sponge.

In order to determine your partners ring size, we offer two free options:

1. The ring template to print out

Use this PDF you can find out the ring size without having to measure the ring finger. The perfect option if you want to give the ring to someone as a surprise.

2. The ring tape measure

The ring tape measure works like a belt around the finger. Simply send us an email with name and adress. We will send you the ring tape measure free of charge by post within 5 working days.

Do wide or narrow rings suit me better? 

Choose your ring width between three and eight mm. Men most often wear rings with a width of 4 to 6 millimetres. 

Thinner ring bands are more suitable for narrow hands. Anyone with wide and strong hands should choose a ring with a wider ring band.

We highly recommend engraving the geographical coordinates of your first date. Or your first kiss or the place where you are proposing. The jewellery museum in Pforzheim for example, has the GPS coordinates 48°53'9.622''N 8°41'50.337''E.

If you want to propose first, that's no problem. We also engrave your piece of jewellery afterwards free of charge. We also take care of the shipping and return for you!

The Infinity model without diamond is available with a matt and polished finish in ring widths from 3 to 8 mm. This ring is the perfect addition to the engagement ring Infinity and can perfectly be worn together with the engagement ring, also after the wedding.

This ring is also often worn by men who want to show that they are engaged.

You will receive a discreet shipping box with a neutral sender, in which a white box is placed. Inside you will find a black velvet ring case (without logo) in which your engagement ring will optimally be protected during shipping.

Frequently asked questions about buying rings. 

Ideally, you should plan to buy it four to six weeks before your proposed proposal. If you’re opting for bespoke designs or have specific requirements, production may take longer. Please feel free to give us a call – we’ll be happy to go through all the options with you. If you’re planning at short notice, we have models available straight away with a short delivery time.

Measure an existing ring discreetly, or ask friends and family for the correct ring size. If the ring still doesn’t fit, we offer all customers free lifetime resizing for all unengraved rings.

Bear in mind your partner’s occupation and lifestyle. Gold, silver and platinum differ in terms of hardness and price. The same applies to diamonds and other gemstones. A flatter setting makes the ring easier to wear at work and whilst playing sport. Please feel free to give us a call; we’ll be happy to help you choose.
