Precious metals - the most important criteria

Yellow gold, white gold and rose gold are available in alloys of 14 carats (58.5% fine gold) and 18 carats (75% fine gold).

All our jewellery is nickel-free

White gold (Wg) is a light, white-grey alloy of gold, palladium, and silver. It is particularly popular for engagement rings.

Valuable silver 925/- (sterling silver, Ag) consists of 92.5% pure silver. 7.5% is made up of other metals, such as copper.

Rose gold (Rg) is a pink alloy of fine gold and copper. The higher the copper content, the redder the colour.

Yellow gold (Gg) used for jewellery is an alloy of gold, silver and copper. It is the most popular gold colour in the world.

Platinum 950/- (Pt) is a rare and expensive precious metal. Platinum has a high density, it is particularly durable and robust.

14 and 18 carat alloys - durable & stable

Only the addition of silver and copper (among others) to pure but very soft fine gold makes gold alloys durable and resistant.

The colour also changes from golden yellow to pink to silver white according to the mixing ratio.

How much fine gold is included?

Alloys with a fineness of around 14 carats (or 58.5% pure gold) have the highest strength and hardness. At 18 carats it is already 75.5% fine gold. Alloys with a higher proportion of fine gold are extremely susceptible to scratches and mechanical stress.

You'll only receive nickel-free jewellery - perfect for allergy sufferers and anyone with sensitive skin.

Term Description
H/SI Solid entry quality into the world of diamonds
G/SI Recommended quality with excellent properties
G/VS The upper class with even more brilliance
G/IF For connoisseurs, excellent quality
D/IF River: very fine white, flawless and extremely rare

The 4 C's give information about the quality of a diamond.

1. The colour of the diamonds: in our case D, G oder H
Diamonds available from us with the colour classification D, G and H appear colourless.

2. The purity of our diamonds: SI, VS or IF
SI = Inclusions only visible at 10x magnification, not with the naked eye
VS = Inclusions difficult to detect even at 10x magnification
IF = NO inclusions, designation: flawless.

3. The cut: For our diamonds "very good".
The quality of the cut ranges from "excellent" and "very good" to "good", "fair" and "poor". With us you always buy diamonds with a cut quality of "very good".

4. The diamond weight
If all other quality criteria are the same, the following applies: The higher the carat (ct.) weight of a diamond, the more expensive it is.
